SPEAKERS BIO: Maitjian Welke, Founder and co-owner – Maitjian is the Founder and co-owner of CMIT Solutions in Silicon Valley with offices in San Jose and Pleasanton. She has comprehensive experience in technology with a Computer Science degree And over 20 years of combined Technical and Executive experience in building software and running engineering organization in corporation such as IBM, AMEX, NCR, Sun Microsystem, Cisco and Good Technology/Blackberry. Maitjian sits on the Board of Directors since 2013 for Industrial Council for Small Business Development as their Chief Information Officer (CIO) and this year also invited to serve on the Board of Directors at USPAACC Western Region and at EAC Alameda County. Maitjian who is active in Cybersecurity has appeared as a panelist at Smart City Conference 2019 at San Jose City Hall, Fresno Cyber Expo in 2019, Cyber Expo at Union Bank, and conducted a number of Cybersecurity Webinars. Maitjian Welke has been an advocate and expert in implementing Cyber Security with her team helping Suppliers and Subcontractors to be secure when working with Enterprise or Government Supply Chain and She developed and will be teaching Cybersecurity course at UCSC extension Fall 2021. Ken Norvell, Sales Director –  After a career in sales and installation management for electronic components and capital equipment, Ken joined CMIT Solutions of Pleasanton in 2010. Most recently, he was Regional Sales Manager for Philips Electronics, coordinating the sales of electronic manufacturing equipment to small and medium sized businesses. Prior to that, he managed sales and business development of electronic components and semiconductor assemblies. Ken has lived in the Tri-Valley area for more than 25 years and currently serves on the boards of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce and The Valley Veterans Foundation.
