Small businesses and their teams encounter a diverse array of hazards, including natural calamities such as floods and earthquakes, health threats like widespread flu, accidents and acts of violence spurred by human actions, as well as technology-related disruptions like power outages. Preparing for these eventualities is vital. Business leaders have the responsibility to equip their organizations to face the most prevalent hazards.

To facilitate this, we are organizing a webinar where leaders can learn how to identify and plan for these hazards effectively. Moreover, the session will offer insights into the resources provided by the US Small Business Administration to not only recover from disasters but also mitigate risks associated with future disasters.

Join presenters Gregory Lindberg from the SBA Office of Field Operations and Jack Camp from the SBA Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience, as they guide you through the process of safeguarding your business.

This initiative comes as a part of the SBA Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP), generously sponsored by the same. Funded through President Biden’s American Rescue Plan, the CNPP aims to fortify the SBA’s support system for small and underserved businesses, connecting them to a network of national, state, and local resources. Serving as one of the 15 nationwide spokes under USPAACC, USPAACC-WEST is actively participating in this initiative, focusing especially on businesses owned by veterans, women, and individuals who are socially and economically disadvantaged, encompassing both rural and urban communities hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through the SBA Community Navigator Pilot Program, the USPAACC-WEST is offering a plethora of free consultation services, training, and resources to small businesses. To delve deeper, feel free to reach us at lien@uspaacc-west.com.
